Fairy Tales come true in time for Mother’s Day! The Gold Coast Chamber Players celebrate the night before Mother’s Day (May 10 at 8pm) with a program of “Fairy Tales and Love Songs” at the Acalanes Performing Art Theater featuring hidden jewels in the chamber music repertoire as well as a quintet written as a love song by Robert Schumann to his wife Clara. Among those jewels is Eric Whitacre’s inspiring “5 Hebrew Love Songs” for string quartet and chamber choir. The fabulous Acalanes High School Chamber Singers join the pros as part of Gold Coast’s annual musical mentoring program.  Music ranging from the humorous to the romantic will delight the entire family.  “In our 9 years of bringing world class concerts to our community, this program represents our most entertaining and audience friendly concert to date!
